Police have confirmed that thieves have stolen valuable tools from a building site in Largs.
The incident happened in Linn Avenue in the town on May 1.
The matter appeared in the police crime report which is provided on a monthly basis to Largs Community Council.

It was one of seven thefts reported in the crime report in Largs during the previous month, with one detection, including the recently reported break-in to Deli Il Cardo in the town's Main Street.
Money and bottles of whisky were stolen during that incident.
