Members of the public have the opportunity to gain an insight into the ongoing work at Hunterston and ask questions of officials at a public meeting taking place this week.
The Hunterston Site Stakeholders group will hold its latest meeting on Thursday, June 13.
As well as the management of Hunterston 'A' and 'B' stations, there will be nuclear regulators present, as well as locally elected councillors and community councillors from Largs, Fairlie, Millport and West Kilbride who have been invited.
There will be site reports from both 'A' and 'B' stations managers, as well as reports on safety matters and various progress reports in reference to the decommissioning being carried out at both plants.
The event is chaired by Rita Holmes of Fairlie Community Council. It takes place at the Waterside Hotel in Seamill, and starts at 1.30pm.
