A man has been charged following an incident at a property in West Kilbride.
Police were called to an address in Gateside Street on the afternoon of Saturday, June 22.
Officers remained at the scene into the evening.
Eye witnesses reported a heavy police presence in the street.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police attended at a property in the Gateside Street area of West Kilbride following a report of concern for a person around 4.45pm on Saturday, June 22.
“A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, June 24.”
