Local whisky drinkers raised a glass to support Fairlie Toddlers Group at a recent fundraiser.
The recent and greatly enjoyed “whisky and banter” charity evening organised by Fairlie’s Mudhook Whisky Club resulted in the magnificent sum of £1,000 was raised for the toddlers.
The evening was presented by the internationally recognised Master Distiller of The GlenAllachie Distillery Billy Walker,
A massive thanks to all who contributed to making this such a successful evening and raising such a fantastic amount of money to support this local group in the village.
A big thanks go to the sponsors of the night including The GlenAllachie Distillery for the whisky, the Kandy Bar for the delicious pies, James of Arran for their chocolate, Geraldo’s for providing those in attendance on the night with the chance to buy, at a reduced cost, the whisky tasted on the night, Fairlie Bowling Club for use of their fantastic premises and The Man Shed, who had made whisky and wine flutes from a GlenAllachie barrel and sold them on the evening.
For those who enjoy something little different The Mudhook Whisky Club has another whisky tasting, each with its own Caribbean influence on August 16.
This promises to be a night of contrasts and definitely not to be missed.
