There are lots of live music gig set to take place in Largs and Millport this weekend.
Events are taking place in bars and hotels across the area, including special anniversary performance at The Cathedral of the Isles.
Elsewhere, The George Bar in Main Street, Largs, is hosting Wully Smith from 8.30pm on Friday, followed by Ragamuffin on Saturday night.
On Saturday, Emberfall will be back at Sharp's Bar in Largs bringing an eclectic mix of rock covers to the Nelson Street bar from 8.30pm.
During the afternoon on Saturday The Pier Hotel in Millport has the talented Gordon Junior Seith doing his wonderful acoustic set from 2pm at the Tiki Bar beer garden. And later that day, The Jackdaws will be providing a live show from 9pm till late at the same venue.
There is also live music on Friday night in The Newton Bar in Millport with Yuri Joyce, which promises to be 'a great night with a very talented young man', from 9pm, followed by a disco. The following night Scott Watson will be back with his guitar, and joined by dad Andy on the drums.
And look out for the return of a popular act from Largs Live in Papa Booch and the Amigos who will be performing live at The Tavern Bar in Millport on Sunday from 3pm.
A special concert is taking place in Millport this Sunday, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the restoration of the Cathedral of the Isles' historic Holt organ, which is now 157 years old.
The organ was restored and installed in the building by organ builder David Wood in June 2004. There were three opening recitals including one by Gordon Stewart.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the organ's arrival on Cumbrae, Gordon is returning to let Millport here his organ performance once more.
The event starts at 3pm this Sunday, August 11, and is part of the continuing programme of summer concerts in Millport's Cathedral of the Isles. There will be a retiring collection afterwards.
