CALMACĀ will be operating later sailingsĀ from Cumbrae to Largs in order to support the traditional Millport September weekend.
It means people from the mainland can head across and enjoy the festivities and the fireworks next SaturdayĀ before heading back.
A spokesperson for the ferry firm said: "In support of Millport September weekend illuminations, we will operate additional sailings departing Cumbrae at 9pm, 9.30pm and 10pm.
"Spaces on these sailings are limited and can be booked at the Largs port office from Friday, September 27.Ā
"All passengers intending to travel on these additional late night sailings must be in possession of a boarding card and a valid Cumbrae-Largs ticket.
"Boarding cards can be collected at Largs port office from Friday, September 27."
The Millport September weekend is full of family fun from crabbing and sandcastleĀ competitions to mini Millport's Got Talent, which takes place on Sunday afternoon from 2pm at the DA Hall (registration is on Saturday from 2-4pm at the same venue).
