Scotland’s Boat Show is returning to Inverkip in October, and is one of the largest of its kind in the UK.
Visitors can see new boats of all sizes from luxury sail and powerboats to entry level dinghies – and over 100 high quality pre-owned boats for sale at levels to suit every budget – making it the largest brokerage boat show in the UK and the largest boat show in Scotland.
On shore attractions include the Royal Yacht Association Scotland Pavilion with marine trade exhibitors showcasing the latest trends and equipment, the Get On The Water Pavilion with everything you need to know to go boating for the first time, the Scottish Food & Drink Pavilion, the Clyde Life-Style pavilion with craft & artisan traders, luxury motor cars plus a host of entertainment from pipe bands to helicopters flights.
Nick Nairn will return in the West College Scotland Food & Drink Pavilion
After last year’s extremely popular live demonstrations, the celebrity chef is working with the hospitality students of West College Scotland on the demonstration kitchen and stage where visitors can enjoy daily free displays from Nick and the students.
And with Ocean Youth Trust Scotland you have the opportunity to find out what it’s like to get afloat on board their 40 foot cruising yacht, Alba Volunteer. There will also be helicopter flights
The newest feature at Scotland’s Boat Show 2016, the ‘Get On The Water’ pavilion, proved to be such a success with visitors and exhibitors alike that it’s return for 2017 has already been confirmed.
It offers the complete novice’s introduction to water sports after research at previous shows found that a lot of visitors wanted to know how to get into boating but didn’t know where to start including everything needed to try or buy a boat, jet skis, canoes or windsurfers for the first time.
