A classical music performance is taking place this weekend in Milllport as part of a summer series of concerts at the cathedral.
Music lovers can come and listen to Sally Carr (soprano) and Calum Robertson (clarinet) perform at the Cathedral of The Isles.
Sally studied voice with Susan Hamilton as part of her education at St Mary’s Music School and the University of Edinburgh.
She has been the recipient of both the Tovey Memorial (Recital) Prize and the Janet Buckley Memorial Prize for early music studies, promoted annually by the Reid School of Music.
Calum is an Edinburgh-based clarinettist, organist and choral conductor.
He is a Live Music Now Scotland artist and graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Calum also freelances with various orchestras including The Scottish Chamber Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic.
Calum is a member of the wind quintet Sirocco Winds and soprano and clarinet duo with Sally.
The duo champion and enlarge the repertoire for soprano and clarinet.
Their concert takes place this Sunday, July 23 at 3pm, and entry is free.
