Kate Middleton has revealed her favourite emojis and given her elegance and professionalism on royal visits, some might surprise you.

While the Duchess of Cambridge is always calm and composed when in the public eye, that does not seem to be the case when she’s texting her family and friends.

As part of her 5 Big Insights project, Kate took part in a video where she accidentally revealed her phone to the camera showing her most used emojis which included the angry swearing face.

Other emojis included the cucumber, the purple alien, wind and a pineapple.

Duchess Kate launched her 5 Big Insights project earlier this year and revealed the results of her survey after receiving responses from almost one million people, something Kensington Palace has described as a “milestone” in her charity work.

It follows nine years of work by Kate who is also privately studying the effects of difficult childhood experiences and how they can lead to issues with poor mental health, family breakdowns and addiction in later life.

She announced five main findings from the survey, including that 98% of people surveyed think nurture is essential to lifelong outcomes and 90% believe parental mental health is keay to a child’s upbringing.

Another finding was that 70% of parents admitted to feeling judged by others.

Speaking at her 5 Big Insights speech Duchess Kate said:  "People often ask why I care so passionately about the early years.

"Many mistakenly believe my interest stems from having children of my own.

"While of course I care hugely about their start in life, this ultimately sells the issue short.

"Parenthood isn't a prerequisite for understanding the importance of the early years.

"If we only expect people to take an interest in the early years when they have children, we are not only too late for them, we are underestimating the role others can play in shaping our most formative years too."
