Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool was a little over a week ago but reports suggest that planning for the 2024 UK act has already begun.
It's reported that BBC bosses want to get Sophie Ellis-Bextor to represent the UK in Sweden next year.
The singer has been a household name for over 20 years with chart-topping songs including 'Murder on the Dance Floor' and 'Grovejet'.
Now it's said that Ellis-Bextor will wow the crowds in Sweden as she's named a frontrunner for the 2024 UK Eurovision Act.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor could be the UK's 2024 Eurovision entry
The exciting news comes from a source who shared that the bosses at the BBC only have one artist on their list.
A source told the MailOnline: "Sophie Ellis-Bextor is seen as the ideal fit for the contest – she’s a great singer and performer, and she is already known to audiences, both straight and gay, across Europe."
The news comes following UK's disappointing result with Mae Muller's 'I Wrote A Song' placing second to last at Liverpool.
Although the city was praised for putting on an impressive show with hosts Graham Norton, Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon and Julia Sanina all praised.
