Tributes have been paid to a Glasgow pub owner following his shock death.

Graham Bissett was discovered inside The Cathkin Inn, Rutherglen, at around 9.50am on Monday.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

The husband and dad-of-two, originally from Fernhill, had shared several worrying posts on social media in recent weeks.

One heartbreaking message posted by Graham on Monday morning simply read: “Goodbye World”.

Flowers and cards have been left outside pub for the landlord who was well loved for his DJ and impersonation skills, according to the Scottish Sun.

Graham's son thanked those who written messages of condolence.

He posted on Facebook: "Firstly, I would like to give thanks to all of the kind, heart felt messages from everyone who knew my Dad, a true reflection on how loved and respected the man was by you all.

"The past few days have not seemed real, with emotions that I have never encountered before but I have had to stay strong for my family’s sake at this sad time."

Liz Lucky Barrowman added: "Rest in peace Graham my thoughts are with your family you were a lovely guy lots of fond memories from Fernhill wish you cld of spoke out to someone."

Liane Carberry commented: "Rest in peace Graham, such a shock to hear u are gone, we used to call u Willie the dj. You wer a fantastic guy and totally bonkers.all our love to your family at this sad time."
