A new documentary detailing the relationship between Tony Blair and Gordon Brown will air tonight on BBC.

The two politicians are responsible for the establishment of New Labour, with five episodes of Blair & Brown: The New Labour Revolution following the pair's journey through 13-years of power.

It's a partnership that has been well documented over the years; once a close duo which brought Labour back to government in 1997, it ended in bitter feuding.

The series will explore how Blair and Brown regenerated and modernised the Labour party in the 90s, all the way through to the end of its millennial reign in 2010.
