In the early hours of Friday morning I was returned as the Member of Parliament for North Ayrshire & Arran.
I wish to thank all those who voted for me. I will repay that trust by continuing to be a hardworking, visible and accessible MP for all the people of this constituency, regardless of how they voted.
This election was unnecessary and the result has thrown up great uncertainties for our future, in the context of Brexit negotiations which are due to begin in a matter of days. I wish to reassure my constituents that I will be their voice during these difficult times and ensure that their concerns are represented in the House of Commons.
My constituency office re-opened on Monday 12 June at 9pm, Monday to Friday at its normal hours of 9am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-5.30pm, telephone number: 01294 603774
