Largs Yuletide Night is taking place on Wednesday 5 December. This promises to be one of the best events for years and I am so proud of the hard work done by a small band of volunteers - Rosemary Giovino, Duncan Conner, Cllr Ian Murdoch, Grace McLean, Liz Gilespie and Ellen Linton who have done so much to pull this event together over the last couple of months.

This promises to be an excellent family event with something for everyone. This is also an excellent opportunity to shop local and support local businesses and local jobs. There is a huge amount of stuff available locally and at prices often no different to what is available online. Think Local, Shop Local.

I am very much looking forward to it and to seeing as many revellers out on the 5th as possible.

BBC weather confirms that the rain will stop around 4pm and stay off all night.
