Largs Events would like to thank everyone that watched and waved to Santa as he toured Largs in his Sleigh on Monday December 14. I was following Santa in my car for safety reasons and I was absolutely overwhelmed with the reaction from so many people of all ages. It was a pleasure to see so much enjoyment and enthusiasm as we travelled through the town.

I would like to thank the Largs Events committee for making the best alternative to Yuletide night we could think of to actually happen.

Largs Events would like to thank Stephen Connick, Craig Douglas, David Rae and Jewsons for creating Largs it's very own Sleigh, which can be used for years to come. Largs Events would like to thank every individual or business that donated financially. We would like to thank Derek Brown for storing the Sleigh and letting me use his workshop over the weekend, Derek at West Coast Upholstery for making the seat for Santa's Sleigh, Iain Murdoch at Largs and Fairlie Valeting Centre for providing Santa's sound system., Ross Pearson at Pearsons Garage for the loan of a battery to power Santa's music and Peter Valerio at Largs Hardware Services for Santa's ear defenders, Robin Nicolson at Nicolson Digital for planning the route, Scott McGregor at Largs Printing Company for printing the posters.

Thanks to Police Scotland for permitting the flyby.

A huge thank you to North Ayrshire Council for permitting the flyby and for providing the towing vehicle.

Finally an absolutely massive thank you to Santa and his Elf & Chauffeur, Robert Butcher, for giving up their own time to give another magnificent performance! This is the third year that this magnificent double act have done this for the community.
