It was an ace week for Largs Tennis Club ladies 2nd team who have been promoted to the second division of Ayrshire tennis doubles league.
The team triumphed in their play-off with a comfortable 9-0 win against Coylton's 2nd team. See picture.
The team were: Nancy Bunyan (Captain), Margaret Gibson, Trudy Coyle, Mary Lundy, Morag Cawley, Tiara Hutchison and Linda Cowden.
Largs ladies 1st team secured their promotion to the 1st division when they beat Troon's 2nd team in straight sets. The ladies finish top of the second division after enjoying an unbeaten season.
The Largs 1st team were: Sarah Cunningham (Captain), Hazel Koerner, Sue Wilkie, Lesley MacLellan, Janie McKenzie and Chris Reekie.
And Largs Gents 1st team have finished the tennis season on a high, securing their place in the 2nd division again next year. The Team were: Gavin MacLellan (Captain), Iain McShane, Lewis MacAulay, Malcolm MacAulay, Andy Auld, Derek Ballantyne, David Anton and Alan McEwing.
