David McCulloch and John Byrne reached the final of the British Padel TOUR - London (Gold) event on Sunday. It was a highly creditable performance from the West Kilbride pairing who went all the way to the final before losing out on a super tie-break after one set all.
There are gents, ladies and mixed event evenings throughout the week. The Gents T and T (Tuesday and Thursday) rankings matches has been trialling a new Gold, Silver and Bronze system aimed at pairing up individuals near their current ranking. The new sessions begin on Thursday of this week from 6-7pm, 7-8pm and 8-9pm.
The members have set up a new ‘West of Scotland’ padel group on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter - A newly formed sports club run by volunteers who have gained charitable status to deliver the sport of Padel in the West of Scotland and beyond.
