Largs Tennis Club
It is exciting times for Largs Tennis Club. The club which has been based at Douglas Park for 30 years has now relocated to the all-weather tennis courts at Inverclyde Sports Centre.
This move enables the club to play all year round and offer tennis opportunities and activities to the Largs & surrounding communities.
The club are currently working with the local schools offering Tennis Assemblies and taster sessions. This will be followed by a 4 week coaching course based at the tennis club on Wednesday evenings in June.
Session 1: 5 to 8 year olds Wednesdays - June 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th From 3.15pm to 4pm; Session 2: 9 to 12 year olds Wednesdays - June 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th From 4pm to 4.45pm
These lessons will be played on smaller courts with shorter rackets and softer balls. It’s just like the real game and gives players the opportunity to learn and play different types of shots with enjoyment & success.
