Ten men Largs Thistle put on a superb second half display at Shettleston to get full points and keep their promotion bid on course - going into Sunday's final league game at Cumbernauld.
The Largs manager Stuart Davidson was satisfied with the performance on Saturday and said his team were always in control, and showed their class with a second half trio of goals from Graham Muir, and Scott Adam (x2)
He said: "We were doing well in the first half and we were on top and had a couple of good openings. Shettleston hit the crossbar but that was the only chance they really had.
"Even though Jamie Campbell was sent off, the players stayed calm, and worked their socks off to get the win they deserved."
Largs are also into the Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup final after a penalty-shoot out win at Kilbirnie last Wednesday, and could face Beith, Kilwinning or Scottish Cup champions Auchinleck.
Davidson said: "First and foremost we want promotion, and then we can prepare for a cup final, and then who knows?"
