Largs Thistle 7 Irvine Meadow 0

Thistle put on a magnificent masterclass to overcome miserable Meadow in a match which will live long in the memory of every Largs supporter.
In their biggest ever win over the Irvine outfit in modern times, possibly ever, Largs well and truly mowed the 'Meadow', bursting with pace, fast flowing vigour and efficiency in front of goal.

Scott Adam opened the scoring from the penalty spot, and added a second. Ben Black made it 3-0 by half-time.

Thistle were not content to rest on their laurels and Morton on-loan forward Blair Docherty made it four, and another sub John Carter made it five.

New signing Joe Knowles also came off the bench to score an impressive double, and was also influential in Docherty's goal.
