A long serving Largs Thistle defender has left the Barrfields club.
It’s farewell to Alan Gilbride who has featured twice for Thistle throughout his career.
In a club statement, they said: “Having first appeared - and scored - for Largs aged just 18 back in 2006/07, Gilbride also playing for Cumnock Juniors FC, Stenhousemuir FC: The Warriors and Greenock Hsfp Afc, and rejoining Thistle in 2013, defender Alan Gilbride leaves Thistle for work commitments. In 122 appearances, Alan netted 10 times and was part of two promoted sides - a superb Thistle star!”
