Let's make this year even better than the last!
That is the optimistic message from Thistle boss Stuart Davidson heading into the big match against league leaders Hurlford United.
It is a 1.45pm kick-off on Saturday at Barrfields Park.
Davidson said:"2018 was a great year, we won promotion, reached a cup final, and we have more than held our own in the Premier League with a few cracking results along the way.
"We are in a good position in the league and we are still in the Scottish Cup so we have a lot to look forward to, and we want to make this year even better than the last."

Looking at opponents Hurlford, Davidson said: "They have been the star performers and although they went through a bad patch where they lost a game or two, it sounds like they were back to their best when they won 5-1 against Troon on Saturday.
" We are looking to win our home games and I believe we are capable. Hurlford are strong, and work very hard, and make it tough for you, but our home form has been really good this season, and I am definitely optimistic that we can get the points.
"We were disappointed only to get a point at Rob Roy and after missing the game against Petershill we have extra motivation going into this game. It is always an incentive to try and beat the league leaders."
The Thistle boss revealed that he was hoping to strengthen the squad with some new faces over the next week.
