Largs Thistle have signed up two keepers till the end of the season after  former no.1 Sean Graham left the club, it was announced today.

Graham played his final game for the Barrfields men in a closed door friendly against Hamilton Accies on Saturday.

He made his debut in a friendly against Greenock Morton U20s in a 4-1 victory, making several good saves, and has been a reliable shot-stopper over the years at Barrfields. Last season Sean was on the receiving end of a controversial red card against Irvine Meadow which was overturned on appeal, although the ref's decision cost Largs the game.

He also played through the pain barrier on several occasions during a goalkeeping injury crisis.

A club statement read: "We would like to wish outgoing keeper Sean Graham the very best for the future. Sean joined Thistle in 2016 from welfare side Maukinhill United - with whom he won the Scottish Cup - and having previously played for Port Glasgow and Yoker Athletic.

"Sean made 34 appearances in two seasons, including one for Thistle against Cumnock in 2010. "Best wishes Sean, thanks for everything."

Thistle have pulled off a coup to keep current no.1 Danny Farrell interesting senior clubs including Queen of the South.

A club spokesman said: "We’re delighted to announce Danny Farrell and Jamie McGowan, both ex-Greenock Morton F.C., have signed for Thistle. Danny has already made nine appearances on loan from Ton this season, while Jamie, who played five times for Dumbarton Football Club this campaign, previously played at Troon Football Club and Cumbernauld United F.C. - welcome to Barrfields!"
