St Roch's have had a few impressive results this season, and Largs, who have been going great guns too, need to be on their guard this Saturday.

The 'Candy Rock' have a few very useful players in their ranks including Tam Hanlon who you may remember on Sky Sports a few years ago scoring the perfect hat-trick.

The former Pollok player became an internet sensation as it was hailed as 'the best hat-trick ever' with the feat being shown on Soccer AM two or three years back.

Footage of his hat-trick was viewed six million times in a week.

It was a good 5-3 result that St Roch's had last week in the West of Scotland Cup against Shotts.

There is passion about them and they have a big support so Largs will have to be on their game on the day.

However, I don't see Largs fearing anybody when they are on their game.

It will be a difficult game for Thistle but I think the Largs skill factor will make the difference.

It is certainly a game that Largs would be looking to win at home as it would certainly be a tough replay through at St Roch's.

They have a few experienced heads in there and have beaten some decent teams in the First Division this season, but Largs should be the favourites going into it.

Thistle will be feeling confident after a terrific 2-1 win against Clydebank.

After Auchinleck's stunning win over Ayr United in the William Hill Scottish Cup, it is a real feather in the cap for the junior game.

Hopefully off the back of that more people will come out and support their junior football team. Largs ran Auchinleck close earlier in the season before losing out 1-0.

I had a feeling before the Ayr game that Talbot wouldn't lose on the day.

Auchinleck can now look forward to a return trip to Tynecastle where they will play Scottish Premiership Hearts.

It will be a great day out for the fans.

The money they are making with this run sets them up nicely for a few years. They don’t want to go into the pyramid system and I wonder if they would refuse promotion to Lowland/Senior leagues if they get there.

It is an interesting dilemma but you can certainly take nothing away from Talbot's achievement on Saturday and they have done it the hard way with previous rounds at Cove Rangers and Fraserburgh.

It is a strong community and a great club ethos that Auchinleck have - and they have a winning mentality which was evident in their big win which was beamed around the nation on BBC1.

Hopefully it will encourage lots of fans will turn out and get behind Largs Thistle this weekend as they bid to reach the last eight of the Scottish Junior Cup in their own quest for glory.
