Excitement is building for the Largs Thistle v Kilwinning Rangers FC Scottish Junior Cup quarter-final Saturday 23rd February.

It is the biggest game at Barrfields in seven years, and the club are making arrangements for the match, having sent out the following message to supporters.

President Peter Connor said: "Saturday 23rd February sees Barrfields Park host the quarter-final of the Macron-sponsored Scottish Junior Cup between Largs Thistle and Kilwinning Rangers. The following arrangements have been agreed by both clubs and will be implemented in the interest of spectator enjoyment and safety.

"It is a 2.15pm kick-off and gates will open one hour before. Season tickets are not valid. Spectators are advised to arrive early to avoid queues in the run up to kick-off and so they do not miss any of the action.

"Please note the admission prices for the quarter-final, as set by the SJFA, are £7 for adults and £3.50 for under-16's and concessions: SJFA rules state all persons entering the ground must pay admission. Please have the correct admittance money to assist with entry.

"There will be a strict no alcohol policy in place with stewards and police in attendance. No supporters who are under the influence of alcohol will be admitted.

"In the interests of safety, flares and smoke grenades are not permitted. Spectators are advised that the match and supporters on the day will be recorded.

"Due to a limited capacity the Theesel Cabin will be for hospitality guests and committee only.

"Largs Thistle FC are looking forward to welcoming the players, management, committee and supporters of Kilwinning Rangers to Barrfields Park and look forward to a great match."
