Largs Thistle legend George Wall writes for the 'News'...

I don’t think the game this week against Auchinleck is a dress rehearsal for the final.
Talbot manager Tucker Sloan will know all about Largs already and Arnie knows all about Talbot.
Largs have the luxury of not needing the points where Talbot still want to win the league with seven games to play before the final.
In comparison, Largs have three games which should see all Largs players fit and ready to go.
In the Talbot game I think Arnie will be looking for a performance rather than a result.
I feel he thinks he knows his best team but still time for someone to put a doubt in his mind.
Talbot getting beat to Rob Roy 4-3 in the West of Scotland Cup semis at the weekend was a surprise and as this was a big game they wanted to win.
I think it shows they are not invincible and Largs can take confidence from that.
It is sad to see old grounds go - Wednesday'ss Kilwinning v Auchinleck Talbot league match was the last to ever be played at Abbey Park before they move to their new ground next season.
I played my last game for Thistle at Abbey Park a few days after our Scottish Cup win in 1994 - they gave us a guard of honour.
I remember a long time ago when I was with Irvine Meadow playing there and my abiding memory is that of the coal fire in the away dressing room.
You never got cold in there ... it was a roasting thing. I was convinced that they were trying to put us to sleep!
Largs will be hoping to have both Creag Little and Nicky Jamieson back in defence for the final.
Both Jamieson and Little will have big parts to play defensively and offensively as I think dead balls will be key for Largs and with the power in the air they have we could make good use of them.
