On Sunday 2nd June, Largs Thistle Football Club will play Auchinleck Talbot in the final of this year’s Macron-sponsored Scottish Junior Cup, kick-off 4.10pm at Hamilton Academical. This is only the third time in the club’s history that we have reached the final and is a great achievement for all connected to the club, and for the town of Largs itself, and I am sure everyone is looking forward to the big day.

We anticipate there will be a large following of Theesel fans heading to Hamilton on the day of the match. We would like to advise fans that the authorities have instructed that there will be a strict search policy on the day, and anyone who is drunk or in possession of alcohol or pyrotechnics will be arrested. I would emphasise that this will be very much a family occasion, with many young and future Theesel fans attending the match. The club take the safety of supporters very seriously and would ask that all supporters always behave in a responsible manner and do not do anything to tarnish the excellent reputation of our club.

The ground at Hamilton has a limited capacity and I would, therefore, advise supporters to arrive early to avoid queues and to ensure they do not miss any of the action.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone, all our sponsors and all our supporters who come along every Saturday - thanks for your great support throughout the season.

All that remains for me to say is - let’s all get behind the team enjoy our day and back the team with your full support!
