It was a great turn out for the first of the West of Scotland Padel club open nights last Wednesday.
The next open night is on Wednesday September 4 from 7-9pm, and continues next Wednesday too at Unit 10, Stevenston Industrial Estate. Non-members and guests can play for free at the sessions.
Similar to tennis, the popular sport in Spain uses swingball style racquets, and the tennis ball can bounce off the toughened glass on the back wall keeping rallies going for longer.
Pep Guardiola has even had padel courts built at the Manchester City training complex, and these courts are the only ones of their type in the West of Scotland, and indoor.
