Largs Thistle boss Stuart Davidson was understandably all smiles after a 4-0 demolition job at Troon.

Stuart said: "All round it was a great performance. It was a good result but the most pleasing thing to me was the performance.

"I believe Troon haven't lost at home in the league this season and from the start, the players had the bit between their teeth and everybody put in a good shift and got their rewards.
"It was great for Stuart Faulds to score his first goal for the club - he has been putting in great performances for us and we have been encouraging him to add goals to his performance, and it was a great run and good determination and finish.
"It was also good for Will Sewell to get off the mark with a terrific finish. Scott Adam did well too and scored two goals including a penalty after good work from Ben Black.
"Harko (Paul Harkins) played him in and Will took it on the angle and made it look very easy but that is the skill of a good finisher."
However, Arnie believes that it is important for the Barrfields side to keep their feet firmly on the ground after the thumping win over Troon.
He pointed out: "I have told the boys not to get carried away with the win. We are still looking for consistency and we can't switch on and off like we did against Rossvale, we need to be ready from the get go on Saturday."

Largs next play Luncarty at home in the 2nd round of the Scottish Cup this Saturday, 2.30pm kick-off.
