Largs Thistle hit a magnificent seven without replay against Irvine Victoria in a friendly at Inverclyde Sports Centre on Monday evening.
The other goals came from Ben Black, Will Sewell, Simon McBryde and an own goal.
It was a good run-out for Thistle who were well on top throughout this encounter.
'News' football pundit George Wall said: "It was an excellent performance from Largs, and it was good to see Jamie McKenna notch a hat-trick.
"It was also good to see Largs had a few players from the community clubs playing for them."
It was an important build-up for Thistle as they prepare for their big 2nd round Scottish Cup match against Luncarty on Saturday. 2.30pm kick-off at Barrfields Park.
