Glenafton 0 Largs Thistle 1

Glenafton were sent crashing out of the Ardagh West of Scotland Cup by a hard working Largs side who thwarted a second half onslaught at every step.
Thistle ended their recent form slump with a herculean performance to keep their 2020 cup dream alive.
Largs threw bodies on the line for the cause and really dug in deep after returning top scorer Scott Adam fired home the only goal of the game not long after the interval.
Chances may have been few and far between for Largs but they fully merited this victory as boys became men on Saturday.
Goalkeeper Jamie McGowan also made a superb block to deny a Glens equaliser in another critical moment which helped turn the game in Thistle's favour.
In the first half, it was Glens who came close to scoring on 23 minutes as Moore had a pop from distance and the effort skimmed the Thistle crossbar.
The second half started in much the same vein with Glens pressing forward in numbers but they left space at the back which Largs managed to cleverly exploit.
McBryde darted down the left wing, and teed up Kane O Neill whose quick turn and shot from the edge of the area was only partially parried by the keeper Wilson at the left post.
Adam showed his predatory instincts which has made him the league's top scorer as he was on it in a flash to convert from close range on 50 minutes.
Glens threw the proverbial kitchen sink at Thistle in the second half but this was the kind of defensive showing which really had to be seen to be believed by this young Largs side.
There was so much energy, effort and downright guts on display here as Largs left everything on the park to spark a big cup shock.
This was a sensational smash and grab in one of the toughest junior grounds in the West of Scotland.
A home tie awaits in round three to Girvan or Newmains United on a date still to be decided.
