Thistle require the vital spark!

I watched part of the Largs v Rossvale game on the Facebook stream.
It looked to be a flat game with very little enthusiasm from Largs. I thought they really needed to up the pace of the game.
After going down to 10 men Rossvale seemed happy for Largs to play in front of them and at the end a draw was a fair result although Largs should be looking on this as two points dropped.
Largs had lots of the ball but passing seemed to be slow and they lacked their usual spark.
Onto Blantyre, Largs will be looking to make amends and get all three points but the South Lanarkshire side are a surprise package this season, and sitting pretty in third spot. However, I would still expect Largs to put on a good show.
I see Kieran McLaughlin has signed with Largs. A few years ago Kieran attended a coaching school in Leeds where I was working with Andy Goram and other coaches .
When I saw Kieran’s picture on the Largs Thistle Facebook I remembered him immediately as did Andy. Good to see Kieran is progressing. I remember him as a very confident boy and I can’t wait to see how he performs for Largs.
In the WoSFL there were two games postponed due to clubs being unable to field a team due to COVID quarantine issues. With SPFL teams recently forfeiting the points due to the same type of issues should the same happen in the WoFL ?
I don’t think points should be forfeited but there must be some sort of evidence presented to the league that shows these to be valid quarantine requirements as I have no doubt some clubs will abuse it.
In Europe Rangers continue to impress reaching the knock out stages of the Europa League plus they continue to win at home. All credit to Steven Gerrard at this time although so far no silverware has been won. Standard Liege showed that they were a good side at Ibrox - so Rangers deserve a lot of credit. It is worrying times for Celtic - with only two wins out of twelve games.
In England it was good to see some fans being allowed back in to watch the games surely it won’t be long until Scotland follows.
It was also good to see Billy Gilmour back in action for Chelsea in the Champions League after his lengthy injury.
It would be good to see Billy getting himself fully fit, more game time and pushing for a place in the Scotland squad for the Euros.
Tottenham still sitting top of the Premier with Kane and Son playing really well - and they scored some terrific goals in the 2-0 win over Arsenal who are toiling in 15th spot.
The interesting thing for me is Gareth Bale. Is it unrealistic to expect him to get back to the top of his game after basically years of non activity at Real Madrid?
He is a player I loved to watched, can he get in that Spurs team who now seem genuine contenders for the league title?
