Largs Thistle legend George Wall gives his verdict...

My Largs Thistle 2020 player of the year would be Scott Adam.

He leads by example and is a great player.

Scott gives his all in every game - and his recent hat-trick against Blantyre was superb. He regularly features highly in the Premier League goalscoring charts, and is a great example to the younger players at the club because of his commitment to the cause throughout the 90 minutes.
There was no game for Largs last weekend with the Rob Roy game being called off.
This is a 'bug bear' of mine in that I believe clubs should do more to upgrade their facilities and playing surface.
Over the years clubs have strived for success throwing money at players, some have enjoyed success for a short period of time but none I can think of have sustained it.
With clubs moving to the WoSFL and the only way you can gain promotion includes having a SFA license - maybe some will make a long term investment.
It might take a lot of money to upgrade Barrfields but I think it is something the club should target.
Next game up is Darvel which should be a good game. Darvel coming off of a 5-2 victory against Troon and they sit in fifth place in the league one place and one point above Largs.

I always believe that Largs should be looking to win at home - and Sunday's game should be a cracker.
