LARGS boss Stuart Davidson has warned players not to wait on re-signing as he looks to build on recent successes this season.

The Thistle manager is keen to keep the momentum going with Largs finishing the curtailed campaign in good form with victories against the likes of Blantyre and Kilwinning.
He believes he has the nucleus of a strong side for next season but he says it is important for players who have not as yet signed up to not hang about — or they will be left behind.
He told the News: “We have a number of players already on two-year contracts, including Jamie McGowan, Laurie McMaster, George Sewell, Brad Gray, Blair McIntyre, Will Sewell, Scott Adam and Keir Milliken.

Thistle have re-signed more players for next seasons on two year deals including their dynamic young midfielders Stuart Faulds and Craig Forbes, Corey Hughes who impressed in defence last season, and ex-New Zealand wing wizard Jack Haggerty.
Largs have also re-signed impressive young goalie Danny Farrell.

Davidson said: "We are hopeful all the key players will be signing for Largs.
“It is a good set-up and we have an ambitious team and everyone knows what we are all about.
“To be honest, if someone wants to wait to see where their future lies and wants to wait to make a decision, I won’t be hanging about for them.”

*  From 3pm today, Friday 30th April, until 11.59pm on Monday, Largs Thistle will not be posting on social media.

A club spokesperson said: "We, and clubs like us across Scotland, know what happens online. Players, staff, and volunteers at every club are bullied and racially abused, and bullies get away with it.

"We are a small club, but together clubs can make sure change happens. Say "no more" to racism and discrimination."
