Largs Thistle recorded a 3-0 win over Neilston in a friendly match on Monday night.
The victory was an important boost for the Barrfields side as Thistle look to bounce back from back-to-back league and cup losses.
The match was played under the lights at Barrhead High School - with Largs 2-0 up at half-time.
Thistle added a third in the second half to complete the scoring - with Jamie Martin netting a double against the Farmers Boys and Darryl Duffy also finding the net against the First Division side.
Largs boss Stuart Davidson told the News it was a "big week" for his team after their shock elimination from the South Challenge Cup on Saturday, when they lost 2-1 at home to second-tier Ashfield.
Davidson is demanding a big improvement for this Saturday's West of Scotland Cup clash against another First Division side in the shape of Johnstone Burgh.
Saturday's cup tie at Barrfields has a 1.30pm kick-off.
