Millport's ice warriors managed to conquer the storms and brush up well during a recent curling challenge.
On Wednesday January 24, 16 curlers from Cumbrae and Bute travelled to Greenacres Ice Rink to play their annual match for the County Cup.
Unfortunately play was disrupted by Storm Jocelyn and other events outside the curlers' control but they managed to play two four-end games with Millport Curling Club winning all of their games.
Top skip for Millport was Fergus Boyle.
