A young rising star at West Kilbride Bowling Club has set her sights on competing on the national after winning a string of qualifiers.
Abbi Orderley, 15, from Ardrossan, won her way through the 'district 29' qualifiers, competing against other bowlers from across Ayrshire.
She'll now compete in the district play-offs against bowlers from across Scotland for the right to compete at the Bowls Scotland national championships, being held at Northfield in Ayr from July 27 until August 3.
Abbi defeated bowlers from Glengarnock and Kilwinning to secure her place in the play-offs - and if she makes it to Northfield could find herself playing in front of big crowds from all over Scotland, as well as perhaps catching the eye of some national team officials.
Abbi, who has been playing bowls for more than eight years now, has enjoyed plenty of success in both the indoor and outdoor forms of the game.
Her coach, Alan Porteous, said he was "proud of this achievement" and wished Abbi all the best for the exciting challenge to come.
