Largs Colts 2011 have won two tournaments in a row after triumphing in Falkirk and Glasgow against teams from across the west of Scotland.
Fresh from winning the Falkirk Cup seven days before, it was a busy weekend at Glasgow Green football centre for Largs as they took on the might of teams from all over the west and central Scotland and triumphed, following a thrilling penalty shoot out victory.
A total of three games were played on the Saturday and Largs Colts 2011 fought hard to be victorious to reach the semi finals.
Largs Colts defeated St Mirren YC 6-1, Motherwell FC Comm Trust 3-2, and East Kilbride 1-0 as they made a brilliant start in the group stages on Saturday.
The following day in the semi final Largs battled against a very determined Troon Thistle FC. Colts dug deep and scored the winner with 10 minutes to go which sent them into the final.
Standing tall and fighting for every ball, Colts 2011 drew 1-1 in regulation time with the Jimmy Johnstone Academy to take the game to penalties and were victorious 6-5 in the penalty shootout to take the title, and were the winners of the Glasgow City tournament 2024.

Campbell Rawley, Jamie Gordon, Captain, William McKechnie, Matthew Masterman, forwards: Spencer Li, Josh Cameron, Jack Marshall, Aidan McDonald and the Player of the final was Jamie Gordon.
Congratulations to all players, management, and staff for a marvellous double achievement as the Colts have shown themselves to be the 'Best in the West'.
