It was another weekend of drama across the West of Scotland Football League as Ayrshire sides get into the swing of the season. 

In the Premier Division, Cumnock Juniors bounced back from two defeats in a row to earn three points following a 3-0 victory over Glenafton Athletic at Townhead Park. 

Ryan Caddis' side have now lost their last two games, following two wins from two to kick the season off.

Darvel's tough start to the season continued with a 2-4 defeat at Recreation Park at the hands of Gartcairn. 

The East Ayrshire side have still to register a single point after four games, and currently sit bottom of the table. 

Troon could not make it three wins on the bounce as they fell 3-0 to big spending Johnstone Burgh at Keanie Park. 

Auchinleck Talbot got the better of Hurlford United in an all Ayrshire clash at Blair Park, with Tommy Sloan's side still undefeated in this new season. 

In the First Division, Ardrossan Winton Rovers are still waiting for their first win following a 1-3 home defeat to Petershill in North Ayrshire. 

It has been a challenging start to life in the division for Ardrossan Winton Rovers after their promotion from the Second Division last season.

Maybole Juniors followed up on their win last weekend with another victory, this time away to Ashfield. 

Kilwinning Rangers have had a mixed start to their First Division Season, with another draw at the weekend with Vale of Clyde at Fullarton Park. 

Also in the division, Kilbirnie Ladeside played out a stalemate goalless draw with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, whilst Irvine Meadow were narrowly beaten 2-1 by St Roch's.

Into the Second Division and Muirkirk have maintained their magnificent start to the season - going 100 per cent in their opening four matches and topping the table.

The East Ayrshire side thrashed Craigmark Burtonians 7-1 to continue their fantastic opening to the campaign. 

Bonnyton Thistle picked up a narrow 1-0 win over Neilston, registering their first victory of the season at Brig O'Lea Stadium. 

Whitletts Victoria have made a good start following relegation, and played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Kilsyth Rangers.

In the Third Division, Dalry Thistle made it two wins on the bounce with an impressive 3-1 victory away to Kilsyth Athletic.

Elsewhere in the league, Girvan were thrashed 5-1 at home by Threave Rovers, whilst Irvine Victoria played out a 3-3 draw with Glenvale. 

There were wins for Ayrshire sides Lugar Boswell and Ardeer Thistle, taking three points against Finnart and Vale of Leven respectively. 

In the Fourth Division, Kello Rovers got the better of Eglinton FC in an all-Ayrshire affair, running out 3-0 winners.

Saltcoats Victoria bounced back from defeat last weekend to play out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Rossvale.
