The club, who participate in the Scottish Walking Football Association league and cup competitions, also sent a team to play in the Glasgow Cup, led by manager and former Largs Thistle player Kenny Lynn.

On the day that Scotland played Brazil, the walking footballers marched onto the astroturf at Inverclyde Sports Centre led by piper Graham Clive who is one of the members.

They dressed for the occasion and sampled cans of Irn Bru and Tunnock's caramel wafers - after the game of course.

Chris Constance was voted man of the match but committee man William Pert hit a hat-trick for his winning team.
