Air Canada has touched down at Prestwick Airport for the first time in three decades.
The Canadian airline has resumed cargo flights to the South Ayrshire airport as part of its growing global operations.
The first flight, a Boeing 767, touched down at the airport on Friday morning last week.
The airline's planes were a common sight at Prestwick when the airport was the only one in Scotland allowed to handle trans-Atlantic passenger flights, but for many years now Glasgow and Edinburgh have been the only Scottish airports to handle Air Canada traffic.
An airport spokesperson said: "We were delighted to welcome Air Canada back to the airport with the arrival of a special on-demand Air Canada cargo flight - the first in 30 years.
"This historic event, marked by the touchdown of the 767 in the early hours of Friday morning, not only signifies a major milestone for Prestwick but also reflects the significant growth in cargo operations at our airport."
