A theatre-goer who attended a Barrfields stage show was shocked upon returning home to find that she had lost an awful lot more than 'Half a Sixpence'- after her house had been ransacked.

Largs and Fairlie represented at Youth Parliament

Two young Largs and Fairlie residents have been elected to the Scottish Youth Parliament. Emily Aitken of Fairlie and Megan Reid from Largs were elected to represent the views of young constituents in Cunninghame North, with the formal results announced by returning officer Elma Murray.
