TV celebrity Michael Portillo was in town last night and was pictured relaxing by the shore enjoying one of Largs famous sunsets.
It is unclear why the tv presenter and former Conservative MP was in town filming and was tight-lipped when asked by members of the public.
It is the second time in recent years that popular presenter has visited Largs after he filmed at the railway sation before heading over to Millport to record a piece with the Field Studies Council.
As well as his long running BBC railway series, Michael Portillo has been presenting a number of documentary series on other channels including 'Portillo's Hidden History of Britain' and 'Portillo's Empire Journey' on Channel Five.
