It's time to bounce back!

Thistle boss Stuart Davidson is eager to get the first points on the board for Largs as they face up to the challenge of Rossvale in the PDM Buildbase West of Scotland Premier Division on Saturday.

The opening two games have ended in defeat but Largs carved out a multitude of chances on Wednesday night's loss at Beith - and will be looking to put these efforts away tomorrow.

Thistle lost to Rutherglen last Saturday, and are now sitting bottom of the league with Rossvale sitting second bottom.

Davidson said: "There is nothing worse than when you have had a defeat, you just want to do something about it.
"Rossvale is going to be a tough game but every game is going to be tough and we just need to get ourselves ready for it and react to it in the right way.
""It is a strange league this year and I don't want to set a target other than to win as many games as we can.
"I don't think we have quite clicked yet in performances, and I have been saying the same thing pre-season.
"I don't think it was the worst performance against Rutherglen but we lost a goal which was really poor from a throw in which we didn't set up properly for, and the ball was cut back too easily.
"We reacted and we had a couple of good chances but we didn't take them
"In the second half, we came out and the boys started great but we didn't get on the end of a couple of crosses into the box, and we huffed and puffed.
"To be fair to Rutherglen they worked very hard and made it difficult for us.
"I didn't think it was the worst performance - we need to stop giving away cheap goals and take our own chances.
"I told the boys we have 36 games left - it was disappointing but I pointed out to the players every game is going to be as hard as that.
"It doesn't matter who you are playing - Rutherglen, Talbot, Darvel or Rossvale every game is going to be difficult - and we have to step up to the mark."
The Largs boss has signed up Ross Love after he caught the eye during a loan spell with Largs two seasons ago - and he was straight in to the line-up against Glencairn.
Davidson said: "Some people are still chasing their fitness, Lovey has signed, and he is going to be a big player for us and the sooner he is match fit, and Owen McGinty also needs games..
"We have a new signing Jamie Ballantyne. He has been unlucky and had an injury which is recovering from. Jamie played 60 minutes for the under 20s on Friday and did well."
Largs under 20s beat Benburb 2-1 on Friday evening - and Arnie was suitably impressed.
He said: "If they keep pushing themselves, I have told their players they will get their chance in the first team."
