The Largs Community Garden is all set up and ready for the 'Roar of the Vikings' as the festival is due to begin on Saturday.
Robbie Stevenson, who has been one of the volunteers behind the garden, said: "Largs Community Council Garden welcomes the arrival of King Hakon and King Magnus for the start of Viking Festival.
"As in 1263, the people of Largs will give our guests from The Kingdom of Norway a warm welcome!"
The community garden is based in Gogoside Street at the junction with Irvine Road, directly across from Homemount House, and is run by Largs Community Council, which provides a number of displays marking calender events during the year.
The garden has been decorated for Armed Forces Day, the King's Coronation, Remembrance, Christmas and Halloween in the past.
There is also the community-run Largs Viking Garden, based at the town's railway station, which includes the prow of a Viking ship to greet visitors when they enter and exit.
