Police have confirmed that they are investigating a shocking incident in which a retail worker suffered threatening and abusive behaviour earlier this month.
The incident happened in a premises in Moorburn Road on May 1, and the member of staff reported the matter to the police.
Largs Community Council receive a monthly update on crime matters, including this particular incident.
It was one of five incidents in the town where threatening and abusive behaviour happened to individuals in the town, with a total of three arrests being made in George Street, John Clark Street and Brisbane Road.
Another incident took place on May 5 in Irvine Road which is being investigated by police.
The community council have raised concerns with Police Scotland concerning a rise in disorder in the town over recent months. For more on this story, go here.
