Row over pier objections (Comment on this)

"Why are they so anti-Millport?" that was the question being posed by island councillors this week as they believe that their Largs counterparts are obstructing the local pier project to the detriment of Cumbrae.

At a meeting this week, members of Cumbrae Community Council hit out at the attitude of Largs Community Council chairman Ian Murdoch over recent forum consultation by CMAL over the construction of the new pier at Largs.
