The Earl of Glasgow may have a battle on his hands to preserve the Brazilian graffiti mural on Kelburn Castle.

Lord Glasgow has been told he may have to remove the spectacular sight that adorns the walls of his castle, unless he can prove that its artistic value is more relevant than conserving the 13th-century building.

On their facebook site, a spokesperson for Kelburn said: "Historic Scotland have advised us to apply for an extension from the council while we put together a case to prove the artistic value of the artwork. We still need you support to help save the mural, so please keep showing your support by sharing this page with your friends and family." Full story in this week's Largs and Millport Weekly.
