The Largs Amateur Operatic Society is on the look out for more men!
That is the plea from President Fiona Page as they prepare for next year’s big production ‘Evita’.
Fiona explained: “A total of 44 people came to our recent open night, but only 11 men. Rehearsals start on Monday 21 September 7.30pm at Clark Memorial Church Hall. We are looking for more male voices of all ages, and there will be auditions for lead roles in October.” Largs Amateur Operatic Society will bring ‘Evita’ to local audiences in March 2016. The show will be an Amateur production by arrangement with The Really Useful Group Ltd. It features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice.
