A special Remembrance happened on the channel between Cumbrae and Largs today (Wednesday November 11) to mark Remembrance.
The Royal British Legion section of Largs took part in the wreath casting from the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry at 11am.
It is the second year that the unique service has taken place on the sea. The first service took place last year - see video below.
A spokesman for the British Legion, said: “We attended the Millport Merchant Navy remembrance service last year, where the wreath casting was mentioned and met with approval. When I originally spoke to CalMac, they were not only very supportive of the idea, but keen to get involved.”
